A woman from the Canton Township area was grievously injured after being hit by a car. She was trying to cross the busy Michigan Avenue, when the tragic incident happened.
The mishap took place around 1:15 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the bustling intersection of Michigan Avenue and Haggerty Road. She was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital, and the doctors have reported her condition to be critical.
According to the police, the lady, who is 39 years old, was trying to cross the street when she was struck by a silver-colored Acura. Her current status in the hospital is quite severe, and we are hoping for the best possible recovery.
