Plymouth Prepares for Annual Fall Festival
Plymouth is getting ready to welcome thousands of visitors to its 68th Annual Fall Festival, happening from September 6-8 in the heart of downtown. This beloved event is known for bringing together the community with exciting activities, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere.
A Record-Breaking Crow
Last year’s Fall Festival was a resounding success, attracting an estimated 85,000 people on just Saturday alone. Andera Gerber, the president of the festival, shared that this year’s event is expected to draw even more visitors. “We had our very best year last year,” Gerber noted in her letter for the Fall Fest 2024 program. The festival plays a crucial role for many local nonprofits, serving as their primary fundraiser, and they saw great results from last year’s turnout.
Fun and Thrills Await
For those seeking adventure, the festival will open its carnival rides starting Friday at 3 p.m. along with Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. Excitement will abound with various rides suitable for all ages. Festival organizers are offering ticket packages, with opportunities to purchase a $30 ride wristband for Sunday, allowing unlimited rides throughout the day.

If carnival rides aren’t your thing, don’t worry! The Plymouth Fall Festival has a full lineup of entertainment planned for the weekend. Attendees can look forward to a variety of shows, including live music, a car show, a craft show, and even a pet show. Head to The Gathering, which is conveniently located across from Kellogg Park. For just $7 in advance or $8 at the door, you can indulge in a hearty breakfast of fluffy pancakes, sausage, orange juice, and coffee or milk. Plus, kids aged 5 and under can eat for free!
Another culinary highlight is the Rotary Club Annual Chicken BBQ, taking place on Sunday, September 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or until sold out) at Kellogg Park. For $17 in presale or $20 at the door, you can enjoy a delicious dinner that includes half a chicken, corn-on-the-cob, a roll with butter, bottled water, and a cookie.
