Livonia, Mich. – In a situation that has become all too common as schools gear up for a new academic year, Livonia Public Schools is struggling with a shortage of school bus drivers, impacting numerous bus routes across the district. The Livonia school district has announced that the bus cancellations will affect various routes that serve students across all grade levels, both in the morning and afternoon. Specific bus routes such as A, B, C, D, and E at schools like Stevenson, Holmes, Riley, Hoover, and Coolidge will be impacted starting Friday, September 20th, and enduring through the following week, September 23rd to 27th.
Additionally, other bus routes including F, G, H, and J will be affected from September 30th through October 4th, serving the same schools. This extensive reach demonstrates just how many families will be impacted by this unfortunate development.
