Jerome is well-respected in the industry. In 2024, she was honored as a Women of Inspiration Honoree by the Women in Sports and Events DC Chapter, highlighting her significant contributions to the sports world. As a proud Haitian American from Miami Gardens, Florida, she’s also an accomplished academic, holding degrees from Howard University and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Her passion for education doesn’t stop there—she’s also involved in teaching sports marketing at Howard University!
The Washington Spirit is a professional women’s soccer team based in Washington, D.C., and it has been making strides since its founding in 2012 as an inaugural member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). The Spirit plays its home games at the vibrant Audi Field in Buzzard Point, D.C.
