In her new role, Marentic will report directly to Tedros Mengiste, the Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Motor North America. Marentic is no stranger to the automotive world, bringing over 25 years of global experience to Genesis. Most recently, she served as the President of Global Solutions at Circana. In this role, she focused on enhancing media and trade spend effectiveness, showcasing her knack for driving results.
Prior to that, she was holding the position of Global Automotive Director at Google, contributing significantly to ad revenue growth—what an achievement! Her journey began at Ford Motor Company, where she held multiple leadership positions over a remarkable 25-year career. She was the General Manager for the Ford Icons business and even served as President of Lincoln Asia Pacific. This diverse background certainly positions her well to take Genesis to new heights.
Education-wise, Marentic is more than qualified. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, both from the esteemed University of Michigan. With such a strong technical foundation, Marentic has a reputation for excellence and innovation that runs deep in product development and marketing strategies.
Genesis Motor America is an emerging global automotive brand that prioritizes high standards of design, safety, and innovation, all while promoting sustainable practices.
