Plymouth Township Begins Construction on New Luxury Townhomes at Plymouth Walk

Plymouth Township Welcomes New Luxury Townhomes at Plymouth Walk

Plymouth Township is buzzing with excitement as early construction has officially kicked off for the much-discussed luxury townhomes at the former Wycoff Steel/Elks Lodge site. Located near the busy intersection of Haggerty and Ann Arbor roads, these new homes promise to bring a fresh wave of development and community appeal to the area.

Introducing The Towns at Plymouth Walk

Developed by Toll Brothers, the upcoming community known as The Towns at Plymouth Walk is set to come to life in early 2025. These new townhomes will boast a spacious design starting at around 1,800 square feet, making them perfect for families or anyone who enjoys plenty of room to breathe. The open-concept floor plans include three bedrooms and two-car garages, along with stylish options for personalization. Buyers can choose from two unique designs, each showcasing loft spaces, conveniently placed bedroom-level laundry rooms, and full basements that can be finished to add even more living space.

Pricing and Features

For potential home buyers, the starting prices are expected to be in the mid-$500,000s. While exact images of the townhomes are still to be released, interested parties can check out graphic renderings available on Toll Brothers’ website to get a sneak peek of what these homes will look like.

Located at 41700 Ann Arbor Road, the new community is a part of a larger development plan which includes a total of 369 units consisting of both apartments and townhouses. This ambitious project is being developed by Nicolas Peraino of Pomeroy Living in collaboration with Toll Brothers. Outgoing Plymouth Township Supervisor Kurt Heise shared that the development will be structured in two parts, with a central road—referred to as the “spine road”—serving as the main thoroughfare.

Community Benefits and Local Impact

According to Heise, everything to the east of the spine road will showcase the new townhomes while the west side will primarily feature apartments. A few townhomes may also be located on that side, but plans are still being finalized. With the road construction already completed, crews are actively working to dig basements for the townhomes. Currently, a temporary prefab building stands on the site with a newly installed privacy fence to provide screening for the surrounding neighborhoods.

In a gesture to maintain harmony with the neighborhood, the developers have committed to contributing $1.6 million towards a paving project that will enhance about 45 homes in the area—one of the few remaining dirt-road neighborhoods in the township. A contractor has been engaged for the task, and work will soon commence.

The Joys of Low-Maintenance Living

Residents moving into these new townhomes can look forward to a low-maintenance lifestyle, with essential services like landscaping maintenance and snow removal included. Isaac Boyd, division president of Toll Brothers in Michigan, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Our new community, The Towns at Plymouth Walk, represents an exceptional opportunity for home buyers seeking a luxury lifestyle close to every convenience in one of Plymouth’s most desirable locations.”

With its modern designs and options for personalization, the new community aims to provide great value for homebuyers in the area.

How to Get Involved

All in all, Plymouth Township is gearing up for an exciting transformation with the introduction of these luxury townhomes, and it seems there’s a little something for everyone in this promising new community.
