Two hospitals in Michigan have emerged as the best in the state, sharing the top spot in the latest rankings by U.S. News and World Report for 2024-25.

University of Michigan Health-Ann Arbor and Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak have both secured the prestigious position of being ranked number one in Michigan for their exceptional healthcare services.

In a notable achievement, the Ann Arbor health system has also clinched the top spot for children’s hospitals in the state, along with securing the third position among children’s hospitals in the entire Midwest region.

Both University of Michigan Health and Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital have achieved national recognition for their excellence in various specialty care categories.

The University of Michigan Health has garnered top-10 rankings for its ear, nose, and throat, ophthalmology, and rheumatology services.
