Novi Prepares for the 2024 Michigan State Fair
As summer draws to a close, the city of Novi is preparing to host the much-anticipated 2024 Michigan State Fair. This vibrant fair will run from Thursday, August 29 to Monday, September 2, promising a myriad of activities and attractions for both locals and visitors alike.
Fair Schedule and Location
The state fair will take place at the Suburban Collection Showcase, located at 46100 Grand River Ave in Novi. Fairgoers can enjoy the festivities daily, with doors opening at 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The fair will conclude on Monday with hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the state fair are available for purchase in advance or at the gate. General admission is priced at $10, and children aged 2 and under can enter for free. For those looking for a more inclusive experience, the ultimate admission pass is available for $42, allowing unlimited access to carnival rides as well as circus performances. If you have a general admission ticket, it can be upgraded to the ultimate admission for an additional $37 at the fair.
Attendees interested in the Detroit Shrine Circus can buy tickets for $22 at the tent. Carnival rides can be enjoyed by purchasing tickets individually, with costs ranging from $1.50 per ticket to $60 for a family pack of 50 tickets.
