Exciting News for Rock Fans: All-Female Band PLUSH to Rock Token Lounge on August 3rd

In a delightful turn of events for rock fans, the all-female rock band PLUSH will be delivering an electrifying performance at the renowned Token Lounge on Saturday, the 3rd of August.

In the lead-up to this breathtaking event, we managed to score an interview with all four members: Moriah, Bella, Ashley, and Faith. The conversation ranged from Moriah’s calming pastime of fishing–a relaxing contrast to the thrill of the band life–to their memorable tour with popular rock band, Disturbed.

Moriah, Bella, Ashley and Faith were thrilled to talk about the tour with Disturbed. “That was absolutely incredible!” Moriah reminisced while Bella agreed, praising everyone in the Disturbed camp.

Another highlight was Moriah’s opportunity to sing the song ‘Don’t Tell Me’ on stage with the band, filling in for Anne Wilson. She described it as a super surreal moment.

And speaking of covers, these ladies have done a fantastic rendition of the classic hit ‘Barracuda’. When asked if they had heard any response from the legendary rockers behind the original song, they excitedly responded, “They have not, but that would be super cool if they did!”

When asked what they thought of the term ‘all-female rock band’, Moriah replied, “I think at the end of the day, we are just a rock band out there doing our thing.” Bella added on, saying they’re proud to be part of the female movement in rock music, as they’ve seen an inspiring and drastic change with many women dominating the rock scene.

Adding to the thrill, Bella revealed the unconventional way she joined the band–through a simple Facebook post. Also, for those unaware, Moriah is an excellent singer who has embarked on a winter tour with TSO. She described the experience as amazing and very different, expressing her pride in being part of it.

Now shifting the spotlight to the prestigious venue, the Token Lounge, an iconic spot in Westland. This legendary venue, owned by John Anton since 1994, has hosted thousands of local and national bands. The site has a rich history with a series of unforgettable performances, and PLUSH is about to add another exciting chapter to that history.
