Porch Pirate Swoops in Livonia

Porch Pirate Swoops in Livonia

The folksy little town of Livonia is caught by surprise as a thief attempted a daring daytime robbery, right off a resident’s porch! Turns out, once a quiet neighborhood, always a quiet neighborhood… except when there’s a porch pirate about.

This individual Postman Pat gone wrong was caught red-handed, or should we say, red-shoed? The homeowner’s doorbell camera captured clear footage of a suspect clad in dark clothing and bright red and white shoes. The sneaky pirate made a quick getaway on a distinctive white and blue bike.

The authorities were alerted to this package stealing episode in the vicinity of Plymouth Road and Hubbard Street. As soon as the footage was available, the local police squad swung into action, attempting to get a lead on the bike-riding pirate.

The Livonia Police Department is now on a hunt for this package poacher and is calling for the public’s aid in identifying the smooth criminal. Anyone who has any information about this incident or the person of interest is encouraged to dial 734-466-2327. They’re specifically referring to the case as number 24-32763.

The porch pirate has served as a reminder to residents to keep an eye on their packages and perhaps even consider opting for in-store pickups or requiring signatures for deliveries. As of now, Livonia is a bit more alert, and hopefully, it’ll be back to its peaceful self soon once the pirate is caught.
