Exciting news for food lovers in Canton, Michigan! A brand-new Raising Cane’s restaurant is set to throw open its doors on February 4, 2025. This will be the very first Raising Cane’s to open in the Metro Detroit area, making it a highly anticipated addition to the local fast-food scene.
The new restaurant will be located at 44218 Ford Road, right in the mix of seven other popular fast-food outlets. If you’re a fan of grabbing a quick bite, you’ll be in good company with neighbors like Arby’s, Wendy’s, Tim Hortons, Culver’s, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, and Burger King. However, Raising Cane’s is ready to carve out its own niche dedicated to chicken lovers!
Raising Cane’s has built a massive fan base across the country, primarily known for its mouth-watering chicken fingers and distinctive Cane sauce. The menu is surprisingly limited, focusing on a few delectable items such as chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and sweet tea. But sometimes less is more, and the crowds at their other locations seem to agree!
Interestingly, there’s only one other Raising Cane’s located in Michigan at the moment, and that’s in East Lansing, conveniently near Michigan State University. Additionally, there are plans in the works for another Raising Cane’s to open in Ann Arbor, although the exact date for that grand opening is yet to be revealed. The Canton location will certainly be a treat for those craving it without the drive!
The site has quite the backstory; it was previously a TGI Fridays that was demolished back in April 2024 to make way for this new culinary venture. So, if you’ve missed that Friday feel, now’s your chance to experience a different kind of fun on a Friday—or any day of the week, really!
Mark your calendars for February 4, because the grand opening promises to be a celebration. The first 20 customers in line will receive Free Canes for a Year, a delicious incentive to put on your best chicken-hungry face bright and early! This opening is not just about the food; the restaurant has plans to engage with the local community through fundraising initiatives and sponsorships for local schools, sports teams, and non-profit organizations.
Raising Cane’s aims to build strong ties with the Canton community, emphasizing its commitment to local endeavors. This community involvement reflects their dedication to not just being a place to grab a bite but also a partner in local events and charitable causes.
Are you looking for a job? Raising Cane’s is on the hunt for enthusiastic crewmembers to join their team in Canton. Interested individuals can apply online for various positions and be part of a growing brand that prides itself on a strong team spirit.
The Regional Leader of Restaurants expressed excitement about serving the vibrant Detroit area, mentioning the unique culture and energy that Detroit brings. It’s clear that Raising Cane’s sees a bright future in this dynamic community.
