The 16-match schedule includes 10 challenging conference matchups and six non-conference games, with two standout opponents who made deep runs in the NCAA Tournament last season. Led by the esteemed 13th-year head coach Chaka Daley, the Wolverines are gearing up for an action-packed season.
The team will kick off their season with preseason games against Akron and DePaul before setting the stage for their regular season opener at U-M Soccer Stadium against Loyola-Chicago on August 22. This match will mark the beginning of a thrilling five-game non-conference homestand, culminating in a showdown against Oregon State on August 30, a team that reached the College Cup in 2023.
Michigan will dive into conference play in Ann Arbor, clashing with Penn State on September 13, followed by a matchup against new Big Ten contender Washington on September 16, rounding out the initial stretch of seven home games.
Heading west, the Maize and Blue will face off against UCLA in Los Angeles on September 21, before locking horns with national runner-up Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, on October 8. The rivalry heat will be turned up on October 22 when Michigan makes the short trip to East Lansing for the Battle for Big Bear against arch-rival Michigan State.
The regular season will conclude with a crucial away game in Madison against Wisconsin on November 3, as the Wolverines aim to secure their spot in the Big Ten Tournament. The quarterfinal rounds of the tournament are set to kick off on November 7 at various campus sites, setting the stage for intense competition and high stakes.
For fans eager to catch the Wolverines in action, single-game and group tickets will be available for purchase starting on Wednesday, July 24.
