It’s time to shine a spotlight on the latest rounds of property transactions in the heart of Wayne County. Seeing as around the cool sum of $500,000 seemed to be a popular budget, we thought it a good idea to glance at what this kind of money gets you here.
We’re breaking down the top five properties sold for or under $500,000 during the week of July 29 through to August 4.
First on our list is a neat 1,580 square-foot single-family house at 15839 Crescent Avenue. This home was sold for exactly half a million dollars. Nestled on a 0.3-acre lot, this house has been around since 1953, and the deal for its new ownership was wrapped up on June 28.
Second up, a 1,759 square-foot single-family house at 6492 Durham Drive. Built in 1971, it was handed over to new owners for $495,000. The deal was finalized on June 27.
Thirdly, a comfortable 2,322 square foot, three-bedroom and three-bath condo at 9621 Hubbard Street. Constructed in 1998, this slice of urban life was snapped up for $491,000. The deal was sealed on July 3.
Fourth in line, a 1,940 square-foot detached house on a spacious 3.1-acre lot at 49555 Hanford Road. This 1983-built property was sold for $490,000, and the deal was done on June 27.
Finally, a 2,498 square-foot detached house situated at 40497 Bluesprings Court. This home was sold for $485,000. Providing a comfortable living space and resting on a 10,454-square-foot lot, it was constructed in 1997, and the deal was finalized on July 2.
